Construction

Crews with Lease Crutcher Lewis installed a roof made of cross-laminated timber Tuesday on a new building at the Oregon Zoo, marking the first use of the material in the state. A total of seven panels, measuring about eight feet wide and with a thickness of 5 ½ inches, were lifted into place atop a visitor center under construction as part of the zoo’s new Elephant Lands exhibit.
